350 Mass - Metro North Node

Mission: 350 Mass Metro North is the Metro North branch of 350 Massachusetts, a statewide movement to end the destructive dominance of the fossil fuel industry and transition to a just, equitable, and clean energy economy. Typically about 15 members attend our online meetings on alternate Wednesdays from 12-1:30. Our primary focus has being state climate legislation (including lobbying), legal street actions (Chase banks, Blackrock headquarters, Weymouth Compressor, “Burma Shave” standouts), some civil disobedience, and keeping each other informed on all matters environmental. Some actions we have taken were on our own initiative and not affiliated with 350 Mass. It is a friendly, informal, supportive and caring group.
